Saturday walk in Flu clinic dates 


9am-12:00pm - Sat 23 September and Sat 30 September


The injected flu vaccine is offered free of charge on the NHS to people who are at risk. This is to ensure they are protected against catching flu and developing serious complications.


You are eligible to receive a free flu jab if you: 



  • are 65 years of age or over  

  • are pregnant 

  • have certain medical conditions 

  • are living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility 

  • receive a carer's allowance, or you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill 


 


 

 

Appointments

blood_pressure4We aim to offer patients telephone appointments in order to cut down on time spent waiting in the surgery.

(See new appointment system Dec 2013)

Please let us know if you or a child have a rash with fever, as we will try to minimise contact with other patients.

We can also book an interpreter or use telephone interpreting services.

Disabled Access

We have full access to all consulting and treatment rooms and toilets. There is a portable induction loop available for people with hearing problems.

Chaperones

If you would like a chaperone for any examination, please inform reception.

Patients Rights

The practice aims to treat patients’ medical conditions to the highest possible standard available under the NHS.

Patients will be treated with courtesy and consideration by all of our staff. Patients will receive appropriate information about their condition and treatment. The practice will endeavour to inform patients on health care matters whenever possible.

Patients with problems considered to be urgent will be seen on the same day.

To ensure the smooth running of the practice and to ensure services are effective an efficient, patients too have certain responsibilities as follows.

To try to arrive on time

· If you are unable to attend an appointment, please inform the surgery in good time

· If you are given an appointment time or date which is unsuitable, please telephone to cancel & reschedule

· Remember, if you continue to default your appointments you may be removed from the list

· Please ensure your address or telephone number is correct. If you change address please inform the surgery.
